Brian and Mercy are a wonderful couple who brightened my Sunday morning in Pasadena! Referred by the amazing Angel of Events of Love and Splendor, we instantly clicked and found we have so much in common (well except for me being good at math like Brian!) Happy Birthday Grace......

Our good friend Grace celebrated her birthday last night in typical Grace style: playing bingo at the Mission Viejo Elk's club! I think we stumbled onto something as these bingo people know how to hang with cheap drinks, gambling and lots of fun! While none of us won the big prize, we all had so much fun and I found myself googling "how to win at bingo" I'll keep you updated with my success! Happy birthday Grace, we are fortunate to have a friend like you!!

Last Sunday after we got back from San Diego with our family, Marlene and I were fortunate to document the wedding of two beautiful souls. They were married at the amazing Greystone Mansion in Beverly Hills and it was a magnificent day.

I have this PERFECT photo of them on the way back down the aisle. Their smiles scream love, the emotion is addicting, and it’s really a defining moment, but I can’t show it to you. I can’t show a lot of photos of their special day out of respect for their privacy because their love is not accepted by all. They have, however, given me permission to show a few obscured photos. I do this not only to show the beauty of their day, but also to remind everyone that…. love is love. It can't be faked, it can’t be suppressed and it most certainly should not be regulated.

Nobody really listens to the words: “by the power vested in me by the State of California” but for my friends, it was very powerful.

Please understand, I never get political here, but this isn’t politics, it’s love. So come November I encourage everyone stay tolerant, stay open-minded and stay in love.

San Diego...One Day!!!!!

Due to our chaotic schedule, we rarely get to take an extended vacation, so Marlene and I always try to sneak in little get aways with the kids! This weekend we took off for San Diego to enjoy some free time! Of course I snuck in a meeting with our amazing clients/friends, Amber and Sean, but that was more like fun than work, especially when they took us to a yummy joint called the Tin Fish!

Ashley & Sean.....

Last Saturday Marlene and I rolled down to San Diego for another awesome wedding (What's up Ohana family, Sorry we were in your hood and didn't say what's up!) Ashely and Sean were married at the Bali Hai Restaurant on Shelter Island. The day was perfect, the location was beautiful and everyone had an incredible time. Thank you Ashley and Sean for allowing us to be part of your day!
